Can anyone tell me the best way to uninstall Netmeeting
from Windows XP Professional? It does not appear in the
Add/Remove Items, once it is installed by Start,Run,"conf"

Thanks in Advance
Ron

Because it is a Windows component - not a separate program.

NetMeeting cannot be uninstalled (at least not the the way it would be
normally thought of). Nor can the installed files be deleted, renamed or
overwritten. NetMeeting files are part of the system protected file system
(components of NetMeeting are used by other system components).

The start, run, "Conf" does not install NetMeeting -- merely initiates the
first run and configuration process.
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;EN-US;Q267958 has a
procedure for reinitializing the registrty to "not run" state(designed for
use when the registry has been modified or corrupted -- usually by an
attempt to install a pre V3 NetMeeting) -- maybe that will accomplish what
you want?

Why do you want to uninstall NM?
