If you are referring to clock slips in digital carrier systems,
you cannot "fix it" with external hardware. It is indicative of
a timing problem.

Describe your circumstance in more detail, and someone can explain
what it means. As it is, you've asked too broad a question to be
answered in a single Usenet post.
