Same phone line? If so, it's likely line conditions changed either
because of something in the home/building you're in or the phone
company changed the line. You can test this by simply trying the
laptop on another line at another location. If it connects at 56k
speeds elsewhere with no trouble then you know it's the line.
Do the test and post back. We can go from there. Gary E
