I have a junk Meridian M2616 business phone that I'm playing with for
LCD experimentation purposes. I'd like to power the entire phone
system off-line (out of the system) so that I can use the LCD, but I
don't know what voltages are necessary to power the system, or if
something more than power is required (communication start string for
example). I know that the Meridian 1 PBX system is propriartary, so
that detailed information is not available. I just want to know if
there exist an offline test module or a way to power the system for
such a purpose.

12 to 24 volts DC on the line cord will deliver power to the set.
