I've a "freebox v3" (modem provided by the french operator "free") with
the routing function activated (the freebox has the public IP adress and
I've a private network behind the freebox).
My PCs are under w2k.
The NAT function is also activated for the netmeeting ports (1720, 1731,
etc.) so that the incoming communications (for these ports) are
redirected on the PC with which I want to make visioconference
(192.168.0.2).

Generally it will not be possible to have full function audio/video calls
without using some sort of dmz feature in the router/modem -- port
forwarding is generally not enough.

But the person with who I communicate can see me but me I can't see her.
I think that the freebox is not h323 compliant and that the
corresponding UDP ports which are dynamicly negociated are blocked.

They probably are not deliberately blocked (though your ISP could possibly
do that) -- as I said some sort of dmz feature is generally required. |
