I am trying to print the current configuration settings (or list) using hyperterminal connection. I am using a ARN that was previously used and I would like to see the current configuration parameters. Using command line commands, I have not found a way to list the parameters. Any suggestions?

I don't think you can. As I remember it, you could query the mib

structure from the command line, but that's very laborious to do (and
needs you to have some idea of what you're looking for).

I believe it's possible to set the mib entries for snmp access (if
that's what's stopping you using site mangler on it) from the command
line, then you should be able to establish the IP of the ethernet from
the command line (show ip circuits is a good start), and sitemangler to
it from your pc, log in, and browse the config via that.

You have a couple of options:

1. As mentioned previously, find the IP address (show ip circ) and
connect via Site Manager. You can also TFTP or FTP the file to the
Site Manager station and run the "Report Generator" under the tools
menu which will convert the binary config file to ASCII format that is
more readable.

2. Depending on the amount of memory on the ARN you could run "bcc"
(Bay Command Console). Just type "bcc" from the command line. You
will then enter BCC mode. Just type "show config" and it will spit out
the config for you.

Good luck.

When you are in the CLI, type "bcc", and then "config".

Then you are in BCC config mode.

Then type "more off", and "show config -a"
