Since downloading Skype, whenever someone tries to start a Netmeeting session
with me Skype opens. It doesn't matter if Skype is running or not. Without
uninstalling Skype does anyone have any idea how I can get Netmeeting to open
when it's a Netmeeting session and Skype to open when it's a Skype session?

I assume you are referring to Skype's use of the callto: feature in
Internet Explorer (which traditionally was assigned to NetMeeting)?

AFAIK there is no way for them both to share the function.

http://groups.google.com/group/microsoft.public.msn.messenger/browse_thread/thread/817c88ba584762d/f1a96a58379405b8?lnk=st&q=callto+netmeeting+skype&rnum=6#f1a96a58379405b8

has information about returning the function to NetMeeting if you uninstall
Skype but I don't think there is a way for them to co-exist.

Skype and Netmeeting both use the callto:ip_address way of starting
the program - the callto: link is intercepted by your web browser and
sent to the registered program for the callto: protocol (in the same
way a link starting nntp: is passed to your news reader program)

However, skype can also use the skype:ip_address method to start the
call instead. That wouldn't be intercepted by Netmeetinh.

So you need to adjust the way you publish your Skype address, from
callto: to skype: and it should work. It could well be something only
Skype can actually do, if people are calling you from their client or
website (in which case you might be out of luck)

Thank you for your reply however I'm not sure I understand your last 2
sentences. How do I adjust the way I publish my Skype address? To be more
specific, the problem I'm having is with computer to computer communication
where the other person initiates the Skype voice call from their computer.
Per your last sentence, does this mean I'm out of luck?

Thanks.
