Megapin announced it has begun beta testing of Meztalk.com, a web
portal for accessing Megapins Net-M2 Extension SIP-based Network.
The Net-M2 Extension is an integrated SIP based telecommunications
network engineered to operate at the core of the global
telecommunications infrastructure. Utilizing the inherent benefits of
SIP (Session Initiation Protocol), the Net-M2 Extension is able to
provide a variety of telecommunications services over a IP (Internet
Protocol) Network, including such standard features as "call
forwarding", "call transfer", and "call waiting", as well as Instant
Messaging using the SIP SIMPLE Protocol.
At the network edge is the M2-UA MMS, a SIP based Multimedia Messaging
Service User Agent. Also known as a "softphone", The M2-UA MMS can be
downloaded for free at www.myeztalk.com. Users can make free PC-PC
voice sessions between User Agents and utilize the presence and
