I damaged NetMeeting on Windows XP. Is there any way to recover it?

I did a stupid thing: I did not know NetMeeting is already in with
Windows XP. So, I downloaded NetMeeting 3.0 for other Windows versions.
It did not install, but it just damaged NetMeeting on my Windows XP.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

I am not sure how that could have happened. AFAIK all available 3.x
downloads will no attempt to install on XP. 2.11 versions will attempt to
install and foul the existing installation.

Regardless since the NM installation files are protected by the system file
protection scheme and cannot be erased what seems to be damaged is the
registry entries for NM:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;EN-US;Q267958 has a
procedure for reinitializing those entries (which might fix your problem).
