Hi,

I have BlackBox SME-4 for connecting two X.25
interfaces in back-to-back fashion on HP-UX.

For some reason I have to modify some of the
modem configuration using AT commands & store
it in the modem ROM and later connect it back
to X.25 interface. For this reason I connected
the modem to one of the serial ports and used
`cu` to get the AT interface. But nothing (none
of the AT commands) seems to be working. Also
when I replace this modem with my MultiTech
modem `cu` takes all the AT commands.

Any idea what might be wrong ? What are SMEs
supposed to do ?

TIA -vishwas

It appears the SME-4 does not use AT commands. The only
configuration is the speed, controlled by model# and strap
settings.
