IBM Netvista v90 Modem |

We have a customer who is having some fairly severe problems with
error retransmissions, and so far it doesn't look to be an issue of
severe line problems (the jury is still out, though). The modem is
disconnecting and suffering from numerous retrains.
I'm trying to determine if it might be a crappy driver, but
unfortunately the machine is a three year old IBM Netvista running XP,
and the only description I can find in modem options is IBM V90 fax
modem. I'm sure it's just a rebranded modem, but I can't really point
anywhere (drivers, possibly even slowing the modem down), without
knowing what the hell it is. Does anyone know anything about these
modems?
