Gerald Combs, original author of Ethereal, the leading network protocol
analyzer, has launched Etherealsoft. This company was created to offer
training, support and custom devlopment of the Ethereal product.

Ah..that may be my ticket to salvation. We have a hard time using
opensource software because someone always ask "what happens if a
vulnerability is found out....who will fix it?" It's a valid question
since no one is *obligated* to fix it. The fact opensource software I
use has better support (XanaNews - A GREAT NEWSREADER - for example) is
a moot point. And these days, I can't live w/o Ethereal.
