Dialing Out via Modem |

Forgive me if this questions has been asked before, but I didn't see any
posts about this.
Is it possible to call a remote computer by phone number??? Example I want
to remote into a computer at home, which does not have access to the
internet, but it has a modem. So is there a way to call another computer
through it's modem, rather then by IP. |

NetMeeting has no direct method for calling out via modem (or receiving an
incoming call on a modem).
See Noël Danjou's site -http://noeld.com/papers.asp - "Running a
videoconference between two computers without Internet" for information on
how he accomplished the task.
