MIVNET Launches Major Upgrade to its Web Portal With Industry's First
Advanced, Targeted Search For Global Public Videoconferencing Rooms

New portal makes it easy to find and rent public videoconferencing
rooms by the hour; MIVNET.COM is the industry's premier Yellow Pages
for public room videoconferencing

HOLLYWOOD, Florida, February 2/PRNewsire/ -- The Metropolitan
Interactive Videoconference Network (MIVNET), the largest worldwide
alliance of owner-operated public room videoconferencing, launched a
major upgrade to its World Wide Web portal (http://www.mivnet.com).
The new site makes it easy for users to locate and schedule
videoconference rooms from MIVNET's global videoconference site
location directory.

MIVNET's large and growing database of videoconferencing rooms and
services can now be searched geographically, using an interactive
map-based interface. Users can also sort the directory by country,
state, zip code, and mileage from the user's location. With the
portal's new advanced room search tool, users can also locate specific
Codecs, connection types (such as IP) and additional services.

Since the portal is funded and operated by MIVNET alliance members,
searching the global database and room scheduling are offered free.
Portal users get quick and direct access to facility information, room
owners and scheduling tools without third-party surcharges or
scheduling fees, which are common when customers deal with agents or
brokers.

Even though each site is owner-operated, customers see a single
network with consistent pricing and a wide global footprint. Customers
can access business class conference room facilities using a simple
on-line reservation system at rates as low at $175/hour worldwide. The
network is growing in popularity. MIVNET grew from five public
videoconferencing rooms in 1994 to 177 affiliate members in 2004.

"Our mission is to provide the highest quality, most comprehensive
interactive business video environment for senior executives and
professionals throughout the world," said Mark Levy, President of
MIVNET.

Comprehensive Videoconferencing Directory

The MIVNET portal features the industry's most comprehensive, fastest
growing on-line directory of videoconference service providers. As of
early 2004, the database included 177 registered affiliates and 987
free listings. The database covers 71 countries, 75 states or
provinces and 646 cities. The MIVNET database has videoconference
provider listings for locations that are impossible to find elsewhere.
This gives end-users and alliance members the widest geographical
reach possible. The MIVNET.COM web site averages more than 1000
videoconference facility searchers every business day.

About MIVNET:
Based in Hollywood, FL, MIVNET is the largest worldwide alliance of
owner-operated public room videoconferencing.
