Anyone have recommendations for a robust, reliable and proven IP Video
Conferencing solution that runs on a web server. Basically, I'm looking for
a Polycom like solution without the expensive price.

Also, any comments on the efficacy of Linktivity's vc software?

Thanks for your input and thoughts!!!

I have done considerable research in the webconferencing platform
market.

Positives:
The Linktivity solution has the most features for its price.
The software is stable and packaged well so that you only need to
purchase what you will use.

Negatives:
Linktivity's interface could be easier to use.

Omni-Present is a reseller of both FVC's Click to Meet and
Linktivity's solution for webconferencing.

Please call or email me if you would like see a demo or eval the
software.

After your 'considerable research' you came up with exactly 2 positive
and one negative viewpoitn ? Wow, you really pushed the boat out
there, buddy. Remind me to call you next time I need to do some
comparison shopping.

If I didn't know better I'd think it was a thinly disguised and weak
attempt to advertise :-P

Cheers - Neil.

Neil.

I only claimed to have done considerable research on the
webconferencing industry. I have demonstrated over 10 platforms.

Based on those demonstrations: I told you how LinkTivity stacked up
both positively and negatively in what I considered the 3 most
important categories.

Stability
Features
Ease of Use

I don't know what you else you test for, so offered you a means to
demo the software. If you already know the product, why are you
asking?

Don't bad mouth me on the message board for trying to help you. Just
because I offer a way to demo and buy the products when requested does
not mean I am using this board to advertise.
