"Suspend to RAM" and faxing |
|
|
Hi,
I have the following problem: I try to use my PC as a faxing machine. I
tried Symantec TalkWorks and FaxTalk communicator software. The result was
still the same.
The mentioned above soft operates correctly if my PC is turned on
continuously. But for energy saving I would like to use STR mode, namely,
"Suspend to RAM". When the phone rings, my PC wakes-up and it should start
receiving fax or recording the message.
Unfortunately, probably because it takes about 5-7 second to finish wake-up
process from STR mode, my faxing software can't recognize the rings and it
doesn't receive the faxes.
What can I do to resolve this problem?
Thank you in advance,
Greg
