If you can get hold of picturetel Limelight or newer iPower80 voice
tracking unit, http://www.camerapad.com supports controlling those on a
pc. I think they'll have VTel SmartTrak/ST-1 supported soon as well.

you plug in the microphones and press the voice tracking button on the
remote (its the purple auto button on the top left) to be honest its not
that great and can be a real pain in a meeting where lots of people are
talking over each other

Tks u all!
But I want to know how does the function work?
ex: If we use the "far end control ", the codecs have to use H.281
stnadard...
Like that , if I want another codecs have owned the "voice tracking"
of camera, which standard should be owned?

It's different on Polycom products. On the regular ViewStation you use the
"Auto" button. If you push it twice it will track after fixed positions.

It works, good or bad. It depends on the room end environment. The
microphones that tracks the voice are placed in the front of the
ViewStation. NOT the regular microphones. So if you are far away from the
system it will not "hear" your voice.

You can't activate the far-end voicetracking during a call. Its a local
function.

I recommend you to use camera presets instead (fixed positions).
