If not, wouldnt smt like this be handy?

there is such a nic, but i don't know what brand, I have read about it a
while ago in a pc magazine, but can't remember the mag or device brand
name. i do know i read about it though.
google search maybe for nic with built in firewall or firewall nic or
firewall network card or something similar.
