and spam filtering.
We are an all Cisco shop as far as routers, switches, firewall and so
on. Not really sure if there is a Cisco product for this?
Currently looking into the WatchGuard Firebox X1000 to serve this
purpose.
Can anyone recommend some comparable products? As with any purchase we
like to compare various products before settling.

I use the Firebox II & III series with web blocker for about 100
different companies, and with the ability to have multiple HTTP rules it
makes it simple to have the Dynamic addresses inside the LAN filtered
through web blocker, the fixed ones, with another wet of web blocker
rules, and select managers with no blocking.
If you have your own email server, the watchguard SMTP Proxy will filter
bad headers, remove attachments based on file type (extension), etc....
For Spam Filtering, when running Exchange, I use Symantec Mail Security
4.5 that does virus (in/out) scanning, RBL's, key words, white/black
lists, and other methods. I do not use the Firewall for spam filtering.
