I realize that this isn't exactly a firewalls question, but I wasn't
sure what other group to post this in. I am looking to purchase an IDS
device for my company's network (I know everyone's going to say use
snort, but we're looking at a different solution). Currently I'm
looking at the Cisco IDS 4200 series Sensors, the Check Point
InterSpect Internal Security Gateway, and the Intrusion SecureNet
devices. Has anyone had any experience with any of these devices, or
have any other product recommendations? Thanks very much for any help
you can provide.
