Software better than Skype? |

Hi,
I tried Skype from PC to PC, really very good sound quality. But Skype seems
to use a lot of the systemspeed. When I start "Filemon" you can see that
Skype is opening and closing a lot of files every sexond even it is not in
use....
Is there a Software that is better in handling the system resources, but as
good or better than Skype?
Or is Skype the Mercedes of VoiceoverIP-Software?

Its the Mercedes! I know no other with good sound. I use it with SkypePlus for
phone calls and is good too. Then you go Voice_Ip |

I personally like Freshtel's Firefly softphone
It needs a decent machine to run properly but the sound is great and it's
free
