Linksys Wireless Router LAN Sniffer |
|
|
Can anyone recommend one? I want to monitor activity on my wireless LAN and
I can't seem to locate one that works. I tried a few, but none seem to
detect any packets send/received through the router. |

IMHO, Ethereal (http://www.ethereal.com/) is as good as they come.
You'll probably want to connect each PC to a hub because a switch
(usually built into the router) will not forward other traffic to you
for inspection.

Would you settle for using a firewall monitor? WALLWATCHER is pretty good. |

Or you might be able to have the router log its connections/attempts via
SNMP.
