If I connect to a remote computer while the user is
logged on everything is fine, but if I log off the user,
the screen does not repaint well and after logging on
again, say for administration purposes, the mouse
reaction is sluggish and desktop doesn't repaint well. I
usually have to disconnect and reconnect again to get it
to return to normal. Any ideas on how this can be
resolved?

Thanks!

This is during the same NetMeeting session?

I can't think of a specific reason for your problem -- what operating
system is running at the remote end? Do you have the latest driver for
whatever graphics device is installed at the remote end?

Yes, it is during the same Netmeeting session. I believe
the latest graphics drivers are installed and I
experience this problem with both Windows 2000 and
Windows XP machines.

Thanks

I can't think of any reason why this would happen -- could it be that
logging off triggers something to run on the remote computer that slows the
interaction?

You could try another remote control tool (VNC comes to mind) to see
whether it exhibits similar symptoms.

If it's not a common problem, I guess I will do some more
research. I might try VNC.

Thanks again!
