I use Outlook 2000 and notice that it is much slower than Outlook Express.

That is with windows xp, ,sp 2,, cable modem and 2.8 Ghz computer.

Probably because of the client configuration options. It's been a long
while, but I once had to twiddle a registry entry dealing with the ordering
of the transports - basically moving IP ahead of NetBEUI (or should I say
"NetBIOS", I always forget). Anyway, slowness was cured because the initial
delay of hitting Microsoft Networking and timing-out was avoided because IP
was tried first.. Scan through http://support.microsoft.com and you find
details of it, I'm sure.

Herb, I went to that site but fail to see what you are addressing.
I have used Regedit often but do not know at this time what you might want
me to change or where in the registry you would make such a change.
Can you be specific?

Thanks in advance
