16060 was recommended. That gave me a additional 125 kbps for starters,
guess I can try fine tuning. What is the best way to start the guess
work now and what increments do you adjust? Thanks for the site!

Then that's more than likely an optimal setting for your connection. If you
want to try any changes then I would suggest doubling that size, if it gets
better then increase it again. If it gets worse then just increase your
original setting by 50%. I'm afraid that it's just trial and error, FWIW my
setting for RWIN was recommended as 32976 by the dslreports tweaks test
page.

thats quite a difference in recommended RWIN settings. wonder why the

big differences? my cable company seems to advertise 750 kbps as their
delivered speed by contract, I would imagine yours must be much higher
from a guess.

Sorry, I forgot to state the obvious. Yes, my speed is 2Mbps download and
the recommendation from dslreports depends on the download speed. As I
said, it is only a recommendation so you can try any size you like but too
large and you'll find your download slowing.
