I have the surfboard sb3100 through comcast. My connection drops after
about 10 minutes. There is an IP address but I still cannot surf the
web. Further, if I reboot the modem and do "ipconfig/ release" and
"ipconfig/renew", I get the same IP address from before but I still
cannot surf the web (or download email). The only way to get back
online is to reboot the computer and the modem at the same time. This
will then put me back online for about 10 minutes before the connection
drops again. Can anyone help me troubleshoot this problem? Thx.

This is consistent with having the checkbox 802.11x Authentication
checked in the computer's connection setup.
