I am trying to undo an IOS conversion on an AP but I need an Installation Key that you can type into the browser interface on VxWorks (currently version 12.05).
I have another AP and a Bridge, but if I copy the two key files over, then both units will have the same MAC address which would cause the wireless network to get real ugly. The result is an error, "Too many stations in BSS"

I am looking for a text installation key number based on MAC address. I might be able to use another text key substituting the correct MAC for my AP. I could generate new key files on the working AP or Bridge and transfer them to the other AP via the command console.

Could anyone send me a copy of the text key for a 350 Series Bridge or Access Point, with your unit's MAC address dashed out -- -- -- -- -- --?

Oh Help!
Thanx

How many people reply to their own post?

I do not require a Key any more. I found a way to make one with the proper MAC address and download it to the unit.

I would still be interested in what a text key looks like if anybody has one to share. It might be easier than the method I have.

Wink
