Bigtime ETRALI question: cross talk? push-and-hold-to-talk? |

My question is this.
With the etrali etradeal say you are going to setup direct voip connections across the globe with essential strategic partners and clients.
The goal is push-to-talk walkie talkie functionality where you must press and hold a button down for your voice to be heard (this eliminates the possiblity of accidentally stumbling on a key and unmuting everybody and all of the sudden global clients hear a trader talkin something not meant to be heard at that moment). The scenario means that everybody is in an "always on" state, ALWAYS connected, the only thing the trader has to do is push and hold a button, say what he wants to say and is immediately heard by the client at the other end on their speakerphone. Can the etrali do this "push to talk" walkie talkie functionality to single out clients or groups of clients simultaneously?
Another goal is to have 20 or more simultaneously on a conference with the trader using the etrali. The 20 strategic partners can NEVER hear each other NO CROSSTALK! To them it must always be just like they are the only ones on the line. However, the trader's goal is to be able to be heard by all, talk privately one on one, OR talk to a "workgroup" or group of strategic partners from around the globe simulatenous (ex. they have 4 clients in mexico, they'd like a button labeled "mexico" that immediately allows the 4 designated clients to HEAR the trader, but again no cross talk between the clients and strategic partners.
Each party on the conference represents someone in a different part of the world ranging from Brazil to New York, all through central and south america. They want voip to eliminate the ridiculous toll charges from being connected 100% during business hours to multiple countries.
Basically I am guiding this firm on a system that competes directly with etrali and I have spec'd my system to literally do all of the above including voip implementation throughout. The trader is the one making the decision and is not technical enough to know what the etrali really can and can't do, so I'm not sure if we're comparing apples to apples. Will the etrali do all of the above right out of the box? |
