open up port 3389 on PIX 7.0?

Postby jsandlin0803 » Tue Dec 13, 2005 7:22 pm

I want to be able to use Remote Desktop on my inside2 interface, on the
server with the address of 192.168.0.2. I would like to set up vpn on
my pix, but it just isnt working. I want to enable this port
re-direction until i get the vpn settings correct.

my outside address is 162.40.148.2, and my inside server i want to RD
to is 192.168.0.2.

Also, i need to be able to ping this address from the outside world.
Also, i need to enable pinging from behind the Firewall. As of now, i
cannot ping anything outside of my firewall. I can't ping my ip's dns
servers or anything.

Let me know how to do these things.

Thanks a lot

Jason, do you have a configuration you're starting with? This
configuration sounds like a vanilla configuration you can get for VPNs
from www.cisco.com in their IOS 7.0 documentation. Make sure your
server has Remote Desktop enabled.
