ISDN VPN tunnel issues |
Hey, I need some help from anyone who will give it. I have 3 stores, all with ISDN that have the same problem regarding a VPN tunnel. The tunnel shows connected but I can't ping through it. Here is the setup we are using.
The PC connects to a Linksys RV042 router that intializes the tunnel. Then the router connects to a Cisco 804 isdn modem/router, which is the direct connection to the internet.
When I try to ping to the other end of the tunnel, it just times out. If I run a tracert on it, the only thing that comes up is the Linksys, then it gets blocked and times out. I would definately appreciate any help that anyone can give me. I have very little experience with ISDN, and none with isdn/vpn combination. Also, I have about 100 of the Linksys routers connected to DSL and the tunnels work perfectly, so I know there is just something I am not doing correctly with the isdn. I'm thinking VPN pass through is just disabled on the Cisco 804, but I can't figure it out, and neither can the Cisco engineer that has been helping me. Thank you. |
