Hello,

I just picked up a used Harris TS1200 and of course I did not receive any of the literature for the unit. I was able to downlaod a pdf from harris/flukenetworks site but it really doesn't give a good explanation.

Ok so heres where i'm at. I installed fresh AA batteries in the unit. powered up and was able to use all the POTS function just fine. The unit even found data on the line and locked me out. so I tried the adsl functions and all I get is connecting.... and nothing seems to happen except the the unit seems to suck the juice right out of the batteries and then its gives the low battery alarm and powers down. you can turn unit right back on after the power down and the the battery indicator reads full so im kinda at a loss. Im testing this on my home dsl line which is thru verizon here in boston.

also this may help or not but unit has a black box on the line cord and after that there is a pair with regular alligator clips, a pair that looks like it could plug on to a small pin and then theres something that looks like a plug with two spring load pins.

current firmware is
ADSL : 3.6.70
POTS : 2.0

any help will greatly be appreciated as I have searched and googled and have found very little on the proper usage of this unit.

thank you
matt
