Anyone have any recommendations regarding PCI 1.0 modem manufacturers /
models / chipsets
that might be suitable for purchasing in bulk? (up to lots of 1000)

Specs:

Basic PCI (preferably not UPCI or PCI 1.1)
"Real" not "winmodem"
Software or Jumper Selectable IRQ / Base Address, or "Plug and Pray"
windows 2000 driver support, would be nice if we also had *nix support

These will go into a wide variety of machines, looking for a quality
implementation of a chipset
that we can throw in and expect to have recognized by the system w/ as few
problems as possible.
