Hi,

I am convince this topic had been covered before. but cannot find it again,

How do i get Netmeeting to work thru a Linksys Router?

I receive calls (they ring me) but when I answer their call, the calling
party is unable to hear me.

as for the Router, i opened it wide open using the DMZ feature. but they
still cannot hear me.

I use the following system:

Pentium IV 2.6ghz
Linksys Broadband Router Model WRT54G
Windows XP Professional
CableModem
I also use Norton Firewall (but it was disable during testing)

after many attempt, i am now clueless.

anyone can help me
Thanks

Patrice

Can they see you?

Your problem may have nothing to do with your router. I can think of two
possibilities:

1) there is a NAT router at the other end -- NAT (without a gateway built
in or use of the DMZ) causes the party behind the NAT not to receive
audio/video in NetMeeting calls
2) there is a problem at your end with the QoS Packet Scheduler
(http://radio.weblogs.com/0127028/2004/10/18.html#a215 has information on
disabling it)
