Has anyone had issues with comcast email where it displays  character
between certain words? or is it a translation issue?

Try doing a 'View Source' and see if your client is doing it or if it
came that way from the sender. Is the sender a different nationality ?

I viewed the source code (comcast email )and the character is in there.
This is just an issue with comcast, whereas tried outlook , hotmail and
yahoo, it works fine in it. The  character is not in the source code
either

Are you referring to their online email reading pages ? If so, and the
character is not there, I would report it on the contact page.

When I am changing the encoding to UTF-8, its removing the funky A
character, is there any reason, comcast would display such characters.

Beats me - I use Mozilla/SeaMonkey/Thunderbird for email/news.
