I have 3 telephone numbers coming into my small retail store. They
come in to the left side of a distribution block. I had no trouble
wiring two outlets by attaching the matching colored wire to the posts
in the center of the block. When I tried to run a 3rd outlet using the
same style, except on the right posts, it came up totally dead: no
signal whatsoever. I then checked the cable thoroughly finding no
problems and then ran a short test cable from the block to the jack and
it also came up dead. I also tested by hooking directly to the
incoming posts. Also dead.

Is there a voltage limit that I have exceeded? Am i missing something?
I have double checked the color matches and they are fine.

Any help be appreciated. Thank you.

Howdy,

No expert I, but...

Might the block be defective?

What happens if you connect pair-2 to post-3...?

All the best,

Is it a split block, in which case you will need bridge clips?
