Hi all,

I had a newbie question about 802.3ah. Would 802.3ah be supported for
end host NICs? Or is it relevant only to links between
switches/transport Ethernet devices?

I ask if in the below example, the use of 802.3ah for monitoring the
status of the link between the two hosts is valid?

_______ _________ ________

| Host |<=======>|Repeater|<========>| Host |
|______| |________| |_______|

Thanks in advance,
Samian
