audio tuning wizard is freezing when starting netmeeting |

Hi,
For the last couple of weeks when I have started netmeeting the Audio Tuning
widard has popped up (it never has before in the past couple of years) - i
now run through the tuning process and then netmeeting starts.
However, now when it pops up and I click next - it freezes my system, same
if I click cancel.Netmeet will not start
I run windows 98 se
have a vibra128 sound card
and a logitech pro 4000 cam (with built in mike) - it is a reasonably late
addition I i wonder of this is causing the problem
Appreciate any advice

Do you have the latest NetMeeting?
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/netmeeting . Do you have latest drivers for
both the sound card and camera?
Do you get to the point where you are asked to choose the sound device? If
you suspect the logitech camera I would uninstall ( at least temporarily) to
see if the conditions change.

Hello,
This is not an answer to your problem but qucuriosity question:
Does the built-in mic. work on this camera with W98Se and Netmeeting? I have
a Quickcam Traveler and the built-in mic is not recognized with W98Se and
Netmeeting?

yes - seems to work quite fine
perhaps check out the logitech site, it is very goodwith lots of easy to
follow trouble shooting and very responsive online help
