I use a Logitech QuickCam for Notebooks Pro using USB 2.0 and I'm running
Windows XP Pro. The OS recognizes the cam and all applications (Yahoo, MS
Portrait, AOL, etc.) can recognize the cam when I start it through each app.
Unfortunatley, Netmeeting cannot. If I start Netmeeting, go to Tools,
Options, Video...everything is grayed out.

Did I miss something?

I don't know the camera you are using ( does it claim to be NetMeeting
compatible?).

Some cameras provide only WDM ( new style) capture software interfaces.
NetMeeting requires ( old style) VFW capture interfaces so can't use WDM
only cameras directly ( most firewire cards/DV cameras are like this).

I don't know enough about the specifics of the camera to know if this could
be the issue( usually Logitech cameras do not have this
problem --(http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm?countryid=31&languageid=1&page=products/details&contentid=5040&crid=4&detail=2
seems to indicate NetMeeting support)
