I haven't used NetMeeting in over a year. Previously, I
used the Intel Directory. I have a Logitech web camera
now. I can't log on to the server.
How do I use AOL as my ISP? What do I type for Directory
under Tools and Options?
Should I use another server? I use AOL as my browser.
Thanks.

Using AOL as your ISP shouldn't really affect your NM use afaik.

http://www.meetingbywire.com/NetMeeting101.htm has info on call initiation.
If you choose to use an ILS server ( which is by no means necessary)
http://www.netmeetinghq.com has a list and scanner of 3rd party servers.

Go to http://www.videofrog.com/ils/servers.phtml and look up under the
ILS server column (the first on the left). Use one of the names in
there, just copy & paste it into the directory box.

I appreciate your help.

I read that to use one of those servers Internet Explorer
has to be my default browser. I use AOL as my default
browser. Do you know of a server that will work with AOL?

I could always change it to Internet Explorer temporarily
and then switch it back.

The browser you use does not affect your NetMeeting use ( assuming you are
using the ILS server via NetMeeting).

It is possible that you will not be able to use the web interface at
videofrog to initiate a call -- I am not sure what mechanism they use (and
am not sure what AOL's browser supports). I think the thing to do is try
with your normal AOL browser. If NetMeeting starts up and appears to
initiate the call then you are OK. If not you may haved to fire up IE ( this
should not require you to make it your "default" thought)
