I have two networks - Workgroup (home) and Office (office). On both I
can use netmeeting, tightvnc ect internally with no problems. I
however cannot access workgroup from the office nor vice versa.

The networks are setup as follows:
Workgroup - WindowsXP Professional. Bellsouth DSl ethernet modem
connected to netgear MR814 gateway, from there to the other computers.
I set the netgear router to recognize a dynamic dns name of
thiscomputer.homeftp.net

At Office - WindowsXP Home
DSL line comes in to Dlink - DI-514 router from the router to
computer1 (ethernet) and to computer 2 (wireless). I set the DMZ zone
to 192.168.0.106 which is the ip of computer 1. I registered at
dynamicdyns and I set computer1 to computer1.dyns.org.

I cannot access the office from home nor home from the office. Using
netmeeting I get that neither place is accepting calls.
I was able to connect to someone with a static ip address however.

Please help. I am desperate.

Generally if you use the dmz feature you can connect by calling the wan IP
of the router.

I don't know if the dyns.org dynamic dns will do the job you want though.

Have you tried calling directly to the IP address ( does the dynamic dns
return the same IP ?)?

It is possible that the dsl modems are also NATs exacerbating the problem.
