I have windows xp professional. I have a headset i use to
play games online (I successfully use "Teamspeak") with no
issue. I have a linksys router. i am on cable modem. I
have port forwarding on for gaming and also have enabled
DMZ. I have the following netmeeting issues.

1. I can hear and see via quickcam 4000 my friend on the
other line. They can not see nor hear me. They have DSL,
on windows 98 and it worked on a laptop i have prior to
trying it on my new machine (dell 8300 with xp
professional). they have done their audio tuning etc...so
have I.

2. Another user (separate) can not hear me on the other
end. When we log into "teamspeak" we are fine. Our tuning
settings have been done..and this guy only has a problem
with a few of us. We are both very knowledable IT folk but
for some reason cant figure this out. HELP!

Assuming nothing has changed at the other end (often incoming audio/video
problems are caused by routers at the incoming end), this is likely a
problem with the "QoS Packet Scheduler". Open the NIC properties at your end
and disable the "QoS Packet Scheduler" to see if the problem goes away.
Leaving it disabled should have no negative effect in your situation.
