I have 3 PCs configured with Netmeeting, they have Win2000. I try to send a
message and it's like lost, then I have to try at least 3 times to finally
receive the message in the target PC.
I don't think it has to do to a failure in the connection because I have a
program running and it has no problems.

How are you trying to "send" a message (what function of NetMeeting are you
using)?

Are you connected in a call? (does the title bar of the tool indicate that
you are connected?)

You have a "program running" -- not exactly sure what that means?

Yes, I am. And the title bar does indicates that the connection is ok.

I made an application that runs on the net, and it has nothing to do with
netmeeting. What I wanted to say is that the net is working fine.

I don't know what the issue might be -- I haven't heard of that type of
problem before.

When you try to send these chat messages -- you get no error -- the message
just appears to disappear? The protocol used is tcp based and has a
send/acknowledge strategy so it surprises me that anything like you are
seeing is happening. When this happens is this a one to one call or is
multiparty?

I have tried an one to one conection and multiparty, but it doen't work.
It's strange, I have near PCs that don't show this problem, but with this
one (it's little far) appears the problem. I expect at least to get an error
message if the conection fails, but it doesn't happen

Far in what sense. Are there any routers or firewalls between the two
machines? Local software firewalls?

How is the connection made to the other computer(what is the calling
method)?
