I've been using NetMeeting's remote desktop sharing functionality to run a
Windows 2000 session on my computer at work from home (using our corporate
VPN). This works in a very similar manner to the freeware program, VNC.
However, when I'm running the Windows 2K session at work from home using
Netmeeting, the mouse responds in a very jerky manner presumably because of
the relatively slow speed of the internet connection (I have a broadband
connection at home). VNC addresses this by having the real mouse movement
(jerky) in the background and a virtual mousepointer that floats on top of
the session at normal speed in the foreground. When you stop moving the
mouse, the "real" mousepointer catches up with the one in foreground. Does
Netmeeting's RDS have anything similar?

No similar feature exists in NetMeeting.
