I've been lurking a while, but can't find an answer. I
use Windows XP, Zone Alert, and MacAfee. All my Windows
software is up to date.

I'm trying to initiate video conferencing with my
daughter. When I log into Messenger, we are able to chat
with instant messages, but I can get the video to work.
When I log into Net Meeting the video works fine, I just
can't contact my daughter. I've set Zone Alert to accept
her ISP. In Net Meeting, we've tried typing in each
other's IP addresses, hosting meetings, inviting one
another, but nothing seems to work. I'm sure it's
something I've overlooked, but I can't figure it out.
Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Bruce

I had same problem and finally solved it by using a tip found on this ng.
Try it if it applies to you.

Open up Network Connections. Under Local Area Connection, right click and
choose Properties. UNCHECK QoS Packet Scheduler and then OK.

Reboot and try it then.

I looked, got no such thing as a QoS Packet Scheduler.
Any other suggestions.
Thanks,
Bruce
