Cutting plastic raceway

Postby Tekkie® » Thu Sep 22, 2005 12:08 am

What does everyone use to cut the above? Hacksaw, jab saw, some kind of snips?

Anyone have any tips for working with this? I don't have any to share right
now.

Yes.

Depending on the finish and the size of the raceway, I'll use
whatever's handy and that's my 25 pair cable cutters.

I use the Premier nee Tellure 1/2 and 1" stuff with a base and cover.
If I need a reasonalbe finish, I'll use my PVC conduit cutters or a
hacsaw.

Panduit has a tool in their catalog for cutting raceway. Very handy.

I've scored it with a utility knife and then bent it at the scoring.
