Hy.

On local LAN.
NetMeeting betwen XP Pro and W98se work fine Audio + Video.

Same machine, same LAN.
NetMeeting betwen XP Pro and XP pro does not work at all !!!!

In firts case i can see 5 x UDP ports to open (4960x, 1373) when launching
Video.
In second (XP-XP), No UDP ports are opened!!! No audio nor video!

Both 1503, 1720 port talk together.. Calling ring are Ok!

Is there any tweak for XP Pro machine to work with NetMeeting (3.01
(4.4.3400)).

No ICS, No ICF, ZA or Not ZA... Same issue.

Any suggestion?

Both XP machines can connect to the Win98 machine and have two way
audio/video calls?

On some XP machines the "QoS Packet Scheduler" when enabled for the NIC
causes inability to send audio/video -- could this be the problem?

Thanks Brian

News tests XP Pro to XP Pro:
Calls from one machine to the other are Ok!
I desabled on both PC's "QoS" Service.
I tried as "LAN" just a simple Patch cable link... and two iP coded
192.168.123.x.
One ping the other.

The issue is stile the same!!! No UDP ports opened and though: no audio, no
Video!
White board and transfert are fine.

Funny thing: when calling from XP to W98se, ring came in a seconde...
When calling from XP Pro to other XP Pro, ringing take 30 sec...

I don'nt understand why these two XP Pro Pc's - patch cable linked - does'nt
communicate and open TCP ports ???
I did'nt set any special policy and run original one (Basic!)

An other sugestion please!

Thanks

And no firewall enabled on the TCP advanced properties for the NIC cards?

I am not sure I understand -- your original problem was that you had no
audio/video on calls between XP machines. Do you still have that problem?

What does "Calls from one machine to the other are Ok!" mean?

What happens when you call from one XP machine to the other? And the other
way?
What happens when you call from both XP machines to 98 and the other way?

The issue is the same? I am truly confused. Are you sure that a "secure"
call is not be made ( that would force data only).

How are these calls made -- direct to the IP address or via an ILS server?
