Netmeeting timeout?

I was wondering if there were some sort of timeout in
Netmeeting. Say, for instance, I was calling my buddy on
his/her computer, and he/she had stepped away from the
desk. Would my Netmeeting client timeout trying to contact
them? Or would it continually ping them until it got an
answer?

It definitely times out if no answer. I think it tries 5 rings ( so the time
is dependent on the time it takes play ringing.wav)
