Are these TCP ports all on the server end? the end that listens for the
connection. The end that doesn't make the call.
TCP ports 522, 389, 1503, 1720 and 1731.

Are these on the end that makes the call?
UDP ports (1024-65535).

Or are
TCP 522 and 389 on the server end.
And all the other ports > 1024 on the client end?

i'm guessing that the comp making the call needs diff ports open to the
one listening.

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/NetMeeting/Corp/reskit/Chapter4/default.asp

has info on port usage.

NetMeeting listens on tcp 1503 for T.120 calls and tcp 1720 for H.323
calls. Audio/video streaming is done using udp 1024-65535 -- the actual
ports used are negotiated during H.323 call setup.

ILS servers listen on either tcp 389 or tcp 1002.

Tcp 522 and tcp 1731 are not used by the current NetMeeting -- their
inclusion in the list is vestigial.
