I use Net Meeting at a number of client sites. I have
determined from microsoft that Net Meeting will be
continued to be supported per the OS Support Life Cycle.
Does anyone know when Microsoft plans to stop shipping Net
Meeting with the OS. And is Net Meeting shipping with
Windows 2003. Are there any licensing issues in
continuing to supply Net Meeting to our customer base
until we find a replacement.

The haven't said but my guess is that Longhorn will be the first client O/S
without NM (though I think pre alpha versions still have it)

Yes.

As long as you have a license to distribute it now I don't see any problems.
But you should check with Microsoft to be sure.

Thanks for the link, Brian. I remembered you helped a lot a few years ago
concerning NetMeeting. I just got a new computer with WinXP Pro and
NetMeeting was buried. I did as you suggested on your website and got it
running.

Thanks a bunch, once again!

Sam
