Inintially works fine, then audio completely stops
working, after different times, estimated 20-30 minutes.
Even stopping Netmeeting does not get sound ok (cannot
play mp3 etc), only reboot helps. File sharing and chat
continue to work all the time

W2K SP4 Fujitsu-Siemens Lifebook S with SigmaTel

Anybody has any idea?

The most likely cause of this kind of problem is the sound card software
driver.

Do you have the latest driver for your sound card?
